Rates

Nighthawk’s Rest is available for short- and long-term occupancy year-round.

The Cabin on Piper Creek is available April through October.

Pets

Pets are allowed with permission. Please contact the owners to plan your stay if you plan to bring your pet.

Ensure the property stays pet-friendly by keeping them off furniture and encouraging use of a favorite bed or crate. Outside the house, please pick up after your pet. An extra cleaning fee of $100 will apply.

For their protection and that of area wildlife, pets must be on a leash or under your direct control at all times. You are responsible for your pet’s behavior and safety during your stay!

Wildlife

This is bear country. Protect yourself and these amazing wild creatures by being informed about recreating in areas with bears. Proper storage and disposal of food, beverages, and trash while at the house and cabin are essential to keeping everyone—humans and bears—safe and continuing to make this experience available to others. 

The same guidelines apply to many other creatures and insects in the area. To avoid unwanted guests and ensure your experience and that of others remains safe and enjoyable, remove and properly store all food and beverage items as soon as you are done with them. Plan to take trash with you or to a local disposal site when you depart.

Fires and Fireworks

Wildfire can be part of the summer months in Montana. Local, state, and federal authorities may restrict campfires and other activities if conditions warrant. These restrictions are crucial for the safety of everyone, so please observe all requirements.

Fireworks of any kind are not permitted on either property at any time. Use of fireworks will end your stay immediately and forfeit any remaining rental fees.

Motorized Vehicles

Motorized vehicles are not permitted in Wilderness areas or on gated Forest Service roads. There are many trails in the area that do permit motorized use; please check for authorized use areas. Use of motorized off-road vehicles is not permitted on the properties..

Cell Phone Coverage

There is no cell service at either property. A land line and internet services are provided.

Trash

Plan to take your trash with you or to a local disposal site when you depart.
